    Quantity
Sonoma Dry Creek Chardonnay (Unwooded) Wine Making Kit - Estate Series. Appellation: Dry Creek Valley, Sonoma, California, USA. Style: Chardonnay is the most widely planted grape in the world, from Burgundy in France to Australia and back to California. Its reputation is well earned, as it makes delicious wines! The Dry Creek Valley in Sonoma produces some of the most sought-after wines in the world. ZEALAND MARLBOROUGH SAUVIGNON BLANC, ESTATE SERIES
New Zealand Marlborough Sauv Blanc Wine Making Kit - Estate Series
    Quantity
New Zealand Marlborough Sauv Blanc Wine Making Kit - Estate Series. Appellation: Wairau Valley, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand. Style: France used to be the standard-bearer for Sauvignon Blanc, with flinty Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé, rounded White Bordeaux, with some help from California interlopers. In one single year (1985) that all changed, when New Zealand produced its first vintage. Overnight, the world had a new model for Sauvignon Blanc, startlingly different and delicious. Marlborough has the sunniest, driest climate in New Zealand, and the Wairau Valley’s rich soils combine with the cool nights to deliver astonishingly pungent wines, with gooseberry, herbs, pink grapefruit, fresh-cut grass, asparagus, lime-leaf, tropical fruit, passion fruit, and a host of other beguiling aromas. Few wines ever achieve the amazing aromatic complexity and zesty fruit of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. The expression of this amazing explosion of fruit is aided by our special proprietary yeast: by careful management of the yeast strain, Selection Estate New Zealand Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc casts long, rich flavours, redolent with grass and currant leaves, and a crisp dry finish. Harvest Conditions: pH 3.37, Brix 20.3, T.A. 7.2 gram per L. Similar Styles: This is the first wine kit of its kind in that it is made with pure juice and concentrate actually harvested in New Zealand. This gives it authentic aromatics and fruit forward flavours never before achieved in a winemaking kit. Food Pairings: Oysters, scallops, salmon, spicy food (Hunan Chinese is spectacular!), asparagus, herbed roast chicken and crab. Sweetness Code: 0 (dry). Alcohol by Volume: 12.5. Ageing: Snappy, refreshing and delicious after only three months, this white wine will age gorgeously for two years, but really rewards prompt drinking with fruity freshness.

CORVINA CLASSICO Di VENETO ESTATE SERIES with CRUSHENDO™
Valpolicella Classico di Veneto Wine Making Kit with Crushendo - Estate Series
    Quantity
Valpolicella Classico di Veneto Wine Making Kit with Crushendo - Estate Series (formerly Corvina Classico Di Veneto) The power grape of Italy’s famed Valpolicella, Bardolino and Amarone, Corvina is renowned for fruity, full-bodied wines with cherry aromas and a hint of almond. The Veneto region stretches from the northeast border with Austria down to coastal Venice, with a mild continental climate ideal for long, controlled ripening and intense grapes. Valpolicella Classico has lush, intriguing aromas of ripe red cherries and raspberries, delicate hints of almond, toast and spice and a richly tannic finish that has the fruit lingering on your palate for many minutes. In the historic footsteps of Amarone—a wine fermented with a reserve of crushed grapeskins—the Crushendo grape pack brings immense grape tannin and character to the wine, and the special RC 212 yeast enhances the wonderful cherry fruitiness. Right out of the carboy this wine will have intense, gripping tannins, and although drinkable immediately, it will open up and blossom into a wine of unique power and elegance over two to four years. This wine kit takes eight weeks from primary fermenting until it is ready for bottling.

Italian Barolo Wine Making Kit - Estate Series
Italian Barolo Wine Making Kit - Estate Series
    Quantity
Italian Barolo Wine Making Kit - Estate Series. Piedmont's devotion to tradition and their pride in their native vines shows immediately in the Estate Series Piedmont Barolo. Medium-heavy in body with a luminous dark cherry color, tannin dominates the flavors initially, with intense grip and robust dryness in the finish. High acid, tannin. and alcohol levels challenge the palate when the wine is young, but with age come rewards: wild ripe strawberries hot from the sun, a whiff of dark tar, the scent of roses and violets, and earthy, rich truffles. Burly, assertive chewy wine, it is not for the faint of heart, but for those seeking intensity and complexity, there is nothing else like Barolo.

    Appellation: Alba, Piedmont, Italy

Style: Barolo is the undisputed champion of Italian reds, dubbed 'The King of Wines and the Wine of Kings'. Piedmont's Alba region is ltaly's westernmost, bordering Switzerland and France. The Local dialect is the same 'Langue d'Oc' from the French side of the border. Piedmont means 'foothills', and the elevation makes for cold winters, warm dry summers and cool foggy conditions during Autumn harvest.

Nebbiolo grapes take their name from these fogs (nebbia). Notoriously demanding to grow (and rarely seen outside the Piedmont), they require sheltered south-facing sites with well-drained calcareous marl (chalky) soils, and Alba has the Piedmont's best, yielding grapes with high tannins, good extract and very importantly for this long-lived style, bracing acidity for structure and ageability.

Food Pairings: Braised beef and lamb dishes, charcuterie, game dishes, grilled steak, and dish with truffles.
Sweetness Code: 0 (really very dry indeed)
    Alcohol by Volume: 12.5 - 13.0%
Oak: 60 g regular oak and 60 g toasted oak

Ageing: Drinking Selection Estate Series Barolo under one year of age will yield swinging tannins and intense dryness, but to experience the rose and strawberry notes will require 12-18 months age, with violets, tar and truffles coming in, developing deeper, fuller notes (and a magnificently long finish).

MONTAGNAC VIEUX CHATEAU D’OC (Monh-tanh-yak) ESTATE SERIES with CRUSHENDO™
Montagnac Syrah/Mourvedre Wine Making Kit with Crushendo - Estate Series
    Quantity
Montagnac Syrah/Mourvedre Wine Making Kit with Crushendo - Estate Series (formally Montagnac Vieux Chateau doc Wine Making Kit with Crushendo - Estate Series). Appellation: La Cave Montagnac, France Style: Languedoc-Roussillon (lang-dock roo-see-onh) is one of the oldest and largest wine growing regions of France. Running from the sun-drenched shores of the Mediterranean to the border of Spain and the Pyrenees mountains, it has a wine making history reaching back centuries. The combination of a perfect Mediterranean climate and rich soil explains why Languedoc-Roussillon is one of the most successful wine regions in France. Named for Occitan, (oh-kit-onh) the language of ancient troubadours, this wine is a special blend of the renowned grape varieties traditional to the region: Mourvedre, Carignane, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon and Viognier. Vieux Chateau dOc is a bold wine, ruby red in colour with a deep, dark plum and blackberry bouquet showing subtle accents of chocolate. Rich, lush and complex, soft black fruit combines with a hint of spiciness that follows through with a firm, tannic finish on the palate. Harvest Conditions: pH 3.4, Brix 21.6, T.A 5.00g per L. Similar Styles: Selection Vieux Chateau du Roi, Crushendo Santa Ynez Valley Syrah. Food Pairings: Leg of lamb, braised short ribs, peppered steak, duck or goose liver pate, ripe cheese with walnuts. Sweetness Code: 0 (Dry), Body: Medium-Full, Alcohol by Volume: 12.5 – 13, Oak: 60 grams French Oak, Ageing: With gripping tannins and up-front fruitiness, it will be tempting to drink this wine young. However, after a year in the bottle, the floral character of the Viognier will blossom alongside the Mourvedres mellowed tannins, the rich plum fruit of the Syrah and the mouth-watering blackberry of the Cabernet Sauvignon. Extended ageing (two or even three years) will bring extended rewards to the patient wine drinker.

Castellina Supertuscan Di Siena Estate Series Wine Making Kit with Crushendo
Castellina Supertuscan Di Siena Wine Making Kit with Crushendo - Estate Series
    Quantity
Castellina Supertuscan Di Siena Wine Making Kit with Crushendo - Estate Series. Winexpert brought out the big guns with the newest offering from the Estate Crushendo line, Castellina Supertuscan Di Siena. The latest 18-liter kit that is fermented on grape skins will really WOW you! In the 1970’s the Tuscany Winemakers broke with traditions of Chianti making to create the great Supertuscan wines. They concentrated on a single Italian grape, Sangiovese, instead of the usual red and white grapes that go into traditional Chianti and blended it with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. This unique Italian creation has both well-finessed tannins and supple fruit flavors and aromas. The bright cherry and lively fruit of Sangiovese is a brilliant match with the firm structure of Cabernet Sauvignon and the dark fruit of Merlot. This medium to full-bodied, dry wine is dark cherry in color with ruby-garnet highlights. A richly tannic finish follows the big, bold, earthy nose of ultra-ripe cherry and currant fruit. While it is tempting to drink the wine when it is young, the patient winemaker will be rewarded after a year when the lengths of the tannins subside and the ripe cherry and blackcurrant characters mellow and integrate with the oak.
