Designed to wrap around most primary (up to 10 gallon) or secondary fermenters and carboys. Even fits the V-Vessel. Heats at a constant 75° F. Great for winter time basement brewing and wine making. The manufacturer states they should not be used on glass but our experienced brewers have had no problems with glass carboys in good condition (no cracks). Some key product notes are: The lower the belt is positioned on the fermenting container the higher the must temperature will rise. The belt should not be left plugged in for more then 8 days in a row. It should not (and really doesn't need to be) used in room temperatures above 75-80 degrees F. The must or wort temperature should be monitored daily. Do not cover the belt with a blanket or wrap it and use it away from flammable material. Works great in cool climates!

High quality glass carboy's. May be from various countries including Canada, Italy, Mexico and others. Tinted green or clear, smooth and ridged (sorry, no choice of color or ridges). Will last for years with proper cleaning and care. Great for beer making or wine making. Move full carboy's with extreme caution. MOST carboy's will take a #7 rubber bung or rubber stopper. We strongly suggest that our customers look at the Better Bottle® as an alternative to glass. The Better Bottle® is a very attractive option for the home beer maker and wine maker as they are less expensive then glass, they don't break and are much lighter. We suggest that customers migrate over to Better Bottles® as an affordable option to the more expensive glass.

Although glass carboy's are going to cost more in the future, they still offer a lifetime of value.

Demijohn - 54 Litre - with Plastic Basket Demi john. Great looking and super quality demi-john. 54 liter (~15 gallon) capacity with a very nice 'weave look' plastic basket with removable top for easy cleaning. Fantastic for long term storage. Just purchase a universal demi-john bung or a #11 rubber bung for your closure. Weighs in at about 25 lbs but ships at 90 lb rate per UPS oversize rules.

The 4 in 1 Carboy Shield. Keeps beverages warm in cool brewing conditions. Keeps beverages cool in overheated brewing conditions. Keeps harmful light rays away from beverages. Acts as a protective shield against accidental contact with hard surfaces. For 5 Gallon and 6 gallon glass carboys only. Carboy not included. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE. The 4 in 1 CarboyShield is manufactured using specialized aluminum foil and adhesive tapes. It will maintain 5 to 6 gallons of beverage such as beer wort, wine must or SuperYeast X-Press at a relatively consistent temperature during the secondary fermentation stage. Wide temperature fluctuations and excessive direct light can cause fermentation to cease or beverage deterioration if not monitored. Affix the shield onto an Italian glass carboy as per the diagram on the front of the brochure. 1. Open up the shield to form a large O-ring. 2. Gently slide the shield down over the carboy so that it covers the entire carboy from the shoulder to the base. 3. When not in use, store the shield in its protective plastic sleeve. 4. DO NOT affix an electrical heating device, including the brew belt, to the shield. This may cause the shield to overheat and/or produce an electrical shock. 5. DO NOT soak the shield in water or any other cleaning solution. Wipe any spills away with warm, soapy water. 6. REPAIR small tears and punctures in the shield with duct tape or aluminum foil tape. 7. SHIELD will NOT protect beverages against freezing or fermentation failures.

Something stable, easy to keep clean and sanitize. You need the Carboy Dryer. Cannot be used with carboys with attached handles.

The Brew Hauler - Nylon Strap Carboy Handle. Designed and patented by a homebrewer. This strap type carboy carrier adjusts to fit 5 gallon to 6.5 gallon glass and 5 and 6 gallon Better Bottles. Can easily be removed from one carboy and used on another. The Brew Hauler is made of heavy duty polypropylene straps that cradle a carboy and provide two carrying handles. Rated at 100 lbs lifting weight.

Carboy Cap - Red Rubber - Single Hole. Fits most 3, 5, 6 and 6.5 gallon glass carboys. Also fits ALL Better Bottles. Almost odor free compared to the orange carboy cap. Soft natural rubber material is pliable and easy to clean.
