They are in like new condition, washed, dried and labels removed. 5 gallon capacity. Vintage Shop Spigots - Assorted Sizes. New Vintage Shop spigots with easy to read on/off valve now available. Two sizes. Item 4895 accepts both 5/16 or 3/8 inch ID tubing and item 4896 accepts 7/16 and 1/2 inch ID tubing. Both fit 1 inch drilled hole in pail, bucket or other vessels.

The manufacturer states they should not be used on glass but our experienced brewers have had no problems with glass carboys in good condition (no cracks). Some key product notes are: The lower the belt is positioned on the fermenting container the higher the must temperature will rise. The belt should not be left plugged in for more then 8 days in a row. It should not (and really doesn't need to be) used in room temperatures above 75-80 degrees F. The must or wort temperature should be monitored daily. Do not cover the belt with a blanket or wrap it and use it away from flammable material. Works great in cool climates!

Brew Belt - Thermostat Controlled. Brew belts help to maintain fermenting temperatures at 75 degree F in cold rooms or basements. Fits 5, 6, or 7.9 gallon plastic buckets and 3, 5, and 6 gallon Better Bottles. Although Brew belt will also fit 3, 5, 6 and 6.5 gallon glass carboys, the manufacturer does not recommend using it with glass fermenters, although we use it all the time on glass carboys without problems. If your glass carboy has a hairline crack, it's going to break anyhow. Inspect glass carboys before each use!
