QA23 Lalvin wine yeast is superior for Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Chardonel, Muscat, Gewurztraminer and the Viognier and also on neutral types of grapes such as the Colombard and the Trebbiano. Lalvin QA23 has low nutrient and oxygen requirements. It has been known to ferment juice at low temperatures (15C/59F) to dryness. Excellent thiol converter making it a complementary yeast for developing varietal Sauvignon Blanc passion fruit character.
