Full, supple, buttery and fruity, this golden wine delivers from start to clean, lingering finish. Ideal with chicken, fish, salads and cream-sauve pastas.

The grape that was made for Down Under - its hot climate perfect for bringing out the best traits in this popular grape varietal. Australian Shiraz is seductively delicious, with startlingly rich, ripe aromas that deliver right through to the full zesty finish. Amazingly, the style allows for polished tannins early, so the young wine is not rough or harsh. The aged version retains the core fruit flavours of plums, cherries and blackberries, but gains extra polish. Pair this Shiraz with flavorful meals!

AUSTRALIAN TRAMINER / RIESLING Wine Making Kit - International. The lively golden hue reveals a combination of floral notes and apple crispness with perfumed headiness of lychee, rose petals, and hints of passion fruit. The long finish and medium body makes a great off-dry wine for sipping. Excellent with Asian cuisine, soft cheeses, oily fish and especially smoked salmon. Sweetness Code: Off-dry. Oak: None. AUSTRALIAN SELECTION INTERNATIONAL SERIES GRENACHE-SHIRAZ-MOURVEDRE Wine Making Kit. The blending of these three grapes is a classic, originating in the South of France where Cotes du Rhone and Chateauneuf du Pape concentrate on these varieties. The small, thick skinned berries are deep blue-black in color, high in extract, flavor, aroma and tannin. Grenache also thrives in hot climates and warm soils, producing deep purple, sugar-rich, burly ripe fruit, it offers a cornucopia of dense, lusty aromas and flavors of black cherry, blackcurrant, jam, pepper and licorice with an explosively mouth filling texture and deceptively heady alcohol Mourvedre also favors a warm climate and abundant. The tiny berries are deep blue-violet in color, with extremely thick skins and high sugars, acidity, color and tannin, making Mourvedre an excellent contributor of structure and density in the blend. Mourvedre is an especially good foil for Grenaches lusher, low-acid, and low-tannin fruit. The three grapes together make for a blend of length, power, and fruitiness and above all, balanced intensity of flavor. Similar Styles: Selection Estate Montagnac Syrah Mourvedre. Ageing: With it’s strong flavors and aromas of black fruits and bold tannins, this wine won’t tend to reward early drinking, but rather will develop impressive finesse and complexity after a year in the bottle.

The uniquely Italian version of the well known Pinot Gris grape, picked earlier in Italy than in all other regions and well before its characteristic loss of acidity at ripening, for a bright, crisp, dry white wine with a gentle perfume and a detectable spiciness. Fresh, fragrant and lively, its flavours include a certain flintiness with hints of citrus and almonds.

Our Chilean version of this classic boasts black pepper and berry bouquets. Notably flavorful, with tannins that develop with age. Pairs with beef, turkey, lamb and stews.

CHILEAN CARMENERE Wine Making Kit - International. Deep crimson, with dark cherry aroma, red fruits and berry notes running to a smoky, spicy finish with notes of dark chocolate and tobacco. With medium body and moderate tannins, Carmenere drinks well young and improves with age. Drink with grilled beef, pizza, or (best of all!) dark chocolate. Sweetness Code: Dry. Oak: Heavy. FRENCH CHARDONNAY Wine Making Kit - International. The classic, from the country that made it famous in so many of its high-end white wine blends. Pleasantly dry, with medium acidity balanced with subtle hints of citrus and fruit. Includes premium French oak for a characteristic vanilla-oak structure. Has established a following for its unique balance of dryness, fruit and oak.

Direct from the vineyards of southern France, this classic varietal is rich with ripe fruit and berry flavours, yet soft and elegant. Dry, full-bodied and deeply coloured, with a complex velvety taste accentuated with premium French oak.

Developed as a cross combining the lively qualities of Riesling with the viticultural reliability of Sylvaner, Germany’s most widely cultivated grape attains rare heights in aroma and flavour. Winexpert's German Müller-Thurgau is crisp and clean, with a grapey fruit character, low to medium acidity, and a pleasantly fragrant aroma. Deep ruby red, this heavyweight wine exudes aromas of sour cherries, dark chocolate, stewed plums, dried fruits, anise, raisins, bitter almond, tobacco, leather and molasses and has a spicy-earthy bittersweet finish that lengthens on indefinitely from the huge volume of tannins.

Montepulciano is a vigorous red grape variety widely planted over much of east-central Italy, capableof creating deeply coloured, rich red wines with blackberry fruit flavours and spicy, peppery tannin levels. Montepulciano generally produces wines that are smooth and mellow yet robust and mouth filling, with dependably high alcohol content. Superb with veal and pasta – an Italian gem you won’t want to miss.

Sangiovese (san-joe-VAY-zee) is the go-getter grape of Italy, grown in virtually every province. In Tuscany (Central Italy) where it originated, endless sunshine and well drained mineral soils push it to sublime heights in wines like Brunello di Montalcino and Chianti. Chianti is a blend of different grapes where Sangiovese plays a supporting role, whereas unblended—as it is in Brunello—it provides an intense, vibrant richness. Selection International Italian Sangiovese has a wonderful bright red cherry character overlaying strawberry notes with hints of violets and white pepper. It has medium body and a long, wonderfully smooth, tannic finish; livened by a zing of acidity and toasty oak and as always, a touch of the Tuscan earth. Harvest conditions: Brix 21.8°, pH 3.55, TA 5.00g/l. Similar Styles: Selection Chianti and Pinot Noir. Food Pairings: Wonderfully food-friendly, Sangiovese is great with veal Parmigiana, pasta with garlic and oil, pizza, blue cheese, Fontina cheese, and fruits such as cherries, figs, plums, and raspberries. NEW ZEALAND PINOT NOIR Wine Making Kit - International series. Appellation: Marlborough, New Zealand. Style: Recognized for centuries as the Queen of red grapes, Pinot Noir makes one of the old world’s most sought after wine. In the New World, New Zealand is fast becoming well known for making some of the most exciting and sought after Pinot Noir. Blessed by New Zealand’s tempered maritime climate and plenty of sunshine, the grapes ripen slowly and perfectly, to allow for making a brilliant wine. This wine wraps delicacy and balance in potent layers of violet aromas and luscious red fruit characteristics of cherry, strawberry, and raspberry. Rather than seizing your palate, the silky tannins caress it, with a velvety, smooth finish that leads to a captivating and elusive aftertaste of spice and warm, toasty vanilla, creating a lasting impression on the palate, and in the memory. The intense varietal character is brilliantly expressed by our specially selected AC yeast, which allows the true fruit to shine through in this highly focused and delicious wine. Ageing: While tempting to drink young, this wine will only begin to show its velvety tannin and rich fruit after three months, ageing for at least a year will help to release its potential, with a peak at around two years.

NEW! SOUTH AFRICAN CHENIN BLANC - Grown in its native Loire Valley since the 9th century, Chenin Blanc migrated to South Africa in 1652 with the Dutch East India Company. South Africa now has nearly tripled the Loire Valleys acreage of Chenin Blanc and now has the world’s most extensive plantings of this grape variety . South Africa is blessed with great soil and a brilliantly hot climate, but its a heat tempered by icy ocean currents from Antarctica. Winexperts Selection International South African Chenin Blanc comes from Stellenbosch, South Africas largest and highest quality wine growing region. Chenin Blanc is an extremely late ripening variety. Combined with very high natural acidity, long ripening yields bright and aromatically fruity wines that meld flavours of green apple, luscious tropical fruits and summer melon with floral nuances and a crisp, well-balanced finish. The aromatics may give an impression of sweetness, however the wine is fully dry. Similar Styles: Selection Original Viognier. Food Pairings: Enjoy with bouillabaisse, grilled lobster, or baked chicken with fresh herbs, or sip lightly chilled on its own. Sweetness Code: 0. Body: Medium. Alcohol by Volume: 12. Oak: none. Ageing: Tempting to drink right on bottling day for the crisp, crunchy fruit and zippy aromas, six months of age will allow the floral and melon notes to come out, and it will continue to improve for one to two years.

This is a deep, ruby red wine. Its layered aromas of ripe raspberry, spices, red cherry and fruitcake give way to a rich complexity of flavors that include raspberry, vanilla, plum, coffee and a subtle hint of banana in the finish.
