Winexpert has announced their dessert wine kit flavors for 2016, and our mouths are watering! Year after year, these seasonal dessert wine kits never disappoint. They are usually released in late summer or early autumn, and since it only takes around 6 weeks for them to ferment to completion, it makes them perfect to take along to your family Thanksgiving dinner. This dessert wine is bursting with rich, intense flavors and aromas. Warm cherry and plum undertones are supported by a racy zing of bright raspberry flavor and luscious chocolate. This kit is high on sweetness, has a medium body with smooth mouthfeel, with light oak intensity. Red Velvet

Again, because of the timing of the release and the short fermentation time, this is going to be another must-have for the upcoming holiday parties. It is rich and velvety, with notes of dark berries. It boasts a hint of moist vanilla cake, enveloped in sweet, decadent cocoa. With an approximate ABV of 17%, its nothing to balk at, either. It is high on the sweetness, with a medium to full body and very low oak intensity. Perfect to make as gifts, or as a sweet you dont have to share with your kids.
Peppermint Mocha
This kit is just like your favorite holiday Starbucks drink only better. Another new edition to the dessert wine line up, peppermint mocha has arrived and we could not possibly be more excited to try it. Can you think of a more perfect Christmas gift for the in-laws or for your friends at the office? The peppermint mocha kit is a blast of rich dark chocolate and cool peppermint. The bold flavors blend seamlessly with the rich notes of coffee beans and dark fruit. This kit makes another super sweet dessert wine, with medium body and little to no oak intensity. From primary fermenter to bottle in six weeks, ready just in time to share around the lighted tree on Christmas Eve, or with a kiss at midnight on New Years Eve.
